Our Early Ask

This is not meant to be alarmist.

Let’s just face it.

Humanity is failing.

• 2 billion people are living in poverty.

• 3 billion lack adequate housing.

• Over 4 billion people, more than half of us, lack basic freedoms.

• 2.5 billion adults feel unsafe at night.

• As many as 2 billion people are in significant physical danger right now.

And to maintain this debacle, we are consuming 1.7 times what the Earth can replenish in natural resources each year.

This is not what thriving looks like.

This does not honor who we are or what we want.

This is a failure.

Let us not continue as we are.

Let us effect a global transformation, a breakthrough in who we are.

It’s time to turn the ship of humanity around and head in a healthy direction.

We can do this. We can do it together. We are all in this boat.

It’s time to come together and start operating as a united, benevolent whole.

How?

• Almost 70% of the world (67.9%) is now using the internet.

• Over 90% of these folks can be communicated with using current language translation technologies.

• Almost the entire world will be reachable electronically within the next decade.

The time has come for a global conversation recreating who we are.

A conversation that brings humanity together, once and for all.

UMA is authoring this conversation.

A giant, public conversation for who we all are and what we all want. A transformational conversation. A conversation that brings us together to reorganize ourselves for what we want most.

A conversation to turn us towards a shared horizon and get us all paddling together in that direction.

It’s a big ship! It will take something to turn it. We request your help.
