Make Good, Like The Fool

Some of you have said you can’t really tell what we are doing.

• What is UMA?

• What is the plan?

• How are you bringing the people of the world together for what we all really want?

I hear you. I’m working to answer these questions. I will be fundraising soon. This involves a pitch deck and additional strategy. These will help clarify things a bit.

A huge part of UMA, however, is inquiry. We are discovering. We are inquiring together.

• How do we bring the people of the world together, once and for all?

• How do we cause the ultimate triumph of the human spirit?

• What is the conversation that creates this?

UMA must get much bigger and more public to start dealing with these questions powerfully. It’s a giant, public benefit enterprise… that’s very small right now! More dialogue is required.

How do we focus on what really matters?

How do we make our lives count?

• What will be there when we die?

• What will matter?

• How do we make good on that?

How do we make good on who we are?

• How do we make good on what we’ve been given?

• On what we can do?

Who are we, anyway?

• Who are we?

• Who are we really?

One thing is clear:

We have at least some agency. We can choose what to make our lives about.

Sure, we may be largely (almost entirely) driven by our programming, the programming we all have to survive. And yet none of us will survive this world. We will not survive! The day is coming for all of us.

Do you not know you will perish? Do you not understand?

It’s not a problem. It’s part of the deal. Let it be.

Let yourself be.

Have you ever stopped to just be? To simply feel the air on your skin? To listen?

Life is much greater than you.

Haven’t you noticed?

Haven’t you experienced how big it is? The great unseen?

We were born from it. It’s always there. It is whispering.

We have a choice, you and I. We can choose what to make our lives about. We can choose what we wake up for, what we live for, what we die for.

Let us choose something worth living for. Let us choose wisely. Let us choose gratefully.

Let us choose to make our lives about honoring what we’ve been given.

Let us choose.

Choosing itself is a miracle.

How is it that you get to choose?!?

How do you have the opportunity and ability to choose what your life is for?

You do not know.

Somehow, you have this opportunity to choose.

You don’t know how. You don’t know why. It is a miracle.

Choose wisely.

This is your chance.

Soon you will not have this chance. You will be dead. Your chance will be gone.

There is something possible for us, all of us, together. We all live here on this planet together. All of us. Together.

It’s the most obvious thing. And yet we’ve failed to make good on it.

We have failed to live together in an honorable, healthy way.

Soon it will be! Soon, this great game will be over!

Right now, however, we have a chance. We have a chance to choose something worthy of our opportunity.

And so it shall be. You and me, me and you.

We will face the fact that we do not know how this all happens. We will admit it.

We will surrender.

We will start honoring what we’ve been given. Listening for what is possible. And we will be grateful.

We start today. Each day we have left. However many or few.

We start by honoring all that’s around us. The very close and the far.

Who is there for you right now? Who is there? Who is there for you to honor?

Who and what is there right now for you, making life possible, making you possible?

You are there, certainly. Somewhere. Even if you cannot find yourself anywhere. You are there reading this. You are there being. You are the one with the chance.

Let it be. Let yourself just be. Let it all just be.

Do not give up on your dreams. Let them be also. May you let your dreams be glorious!

Chase them down like a cheetah! Or like a turtle. Or in between. It’s your choice!

Just remember. We are all in this together. We are all here. Together.

What is this dream we all dream? What do we all want? What do we all need?

What is it all of us long for? Live for?

What is it all of us want?

Is this not our greatest dream? Our highest calling? Our greatest love?

And since we all get to choose, isn’t it obvious?

Isn’t it clear?

Isn’t this how we make good on what we have been given?

And can we not do it?

Can we not chase down this dream we all share like a cheetah, or like a turtle?

Can we not chase it down together?

Of course, we can. We have that chance. We have been given that chance. Even if we do not know how or why.

It’s up to you.

You get to choose.

You have been given the chance.

You get to work it all out for yourself. You get to say how you’ll do it.

Just remember, we are all here together, with a great dream we all share.

All of us.

Here.

Together.

A wonderful dream.
